I think you just have to think longer term. While the last few thousand years Money has been commonplace, the vast majority of human history existed without money. You need to think exponentially in terms of growth not linearly. But money only works when there is scarcity and AI eventually eliminates this, making money effectively worthless. Money itself has no value, only that which ascribe to it. Once that value system collapses then so does the need for money
