You are still making the assumption that AI can be controlled by the wealthy elite. That's possible in today's system but not in an environment where AI has superior intelligence. Yes 99% of human history has been pyramid shaped economies that are controlled by the 1%, but actually the most successful economy in the history of the planet was the US economy of the 1960s where wealth was more evenly distributed. Ergo, the success of the human species in the future may be motivated by more than ownership and wealth, especially in a wolrd of abundance.

To be sure, this would be one of the greatest philosophical shifts of all time. I'm just not at all convinced that super AI can be controlled in the way you insist it must be to keep the system going.
